Subject: DEFountain Update
We just moved to the Pete Gross House in Seattle today (Friday). This is a more isolated situation which will work well during the transplant process. I will spend a couple of weeks in the hospital, but Judy can stay here. It is a small one bedroom apartment, with our own washer, dryer, stove, etc.
I had a double bone marrow draw Thursday – OUCH! Double OUCH! But doing well now. Hurts bad when they do it, but at least it doesn’t last too long. Have a number of appointments this coming week as they prepare me for the actual process (kill me with chemo, then revive me with my own stem cells). It sounds like they will begin that about July 9 or so.
Thanks again for praying. So many other friends and acquaintances are going through similar situations… Prayer is important and effective – So… keep it up.
